MainSpring is currently investigating an issue with FileMaker not restarting in some cases.
**Symptoms:**
After closing FileMaker on a windows machine, FileMaker would not relaunch without rebooting the machine itself.
**Steps to Duplicate**
- Open any file in FileMaker Pro
- Close that file (closes all FileMaker windows)
- Attempt to relaunch FileMaker
**Observed:**
- Windows 10, FileMaker Advanced 18.0.3.x
**Temporary Workaround**
This can be resolved temporarily by rebooting the machine.
**Permanent Workaround**
Update software to FileMaker Pro 19.0.1+ where this has been resolved by Claris.
